Prep for Success AP English Language and Composition - 1 - week seminar class

American Heritage is pleased to offer you another tool to successfully navigate AP English Language and Composition this fall: AP English Language and Composition Prep for Success Seminar. The one-week course will give students a head start on the critical reading and analytical writing skills necessary for the AP Language Exam. It will deepen students’ understanding of rhetorical strategies, the rhetorical situation, and methods of development. Through focused practice with annotation, analysis, and writing, students will be prepared to approach their summer reading assignment with confidence and produce their first rhetorical analysis essay of the course.

Prerequisites: Must be recommended for AP English Language and Composition in the fall.

This is a non-credit 1-week course

Session 3B: 7/20/26 - 7/24/26 (12:15 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.) (EST)

A class may be canceled if fewer than 6 students enroll, and a specific teacher is not guaranteed. It is the parents’ responsibility to check with their child's school when seeking credit for a course. For online courses, the students’ cameras MUST be turned on at all times, and attendance is mandatory. To protect the privacy rights of all, there is absolutely no videotaping or recording by students during the course. Students must be age appropriate for the course, and all students must adhere to proper online etiquette. For online courses, young children must be supervised by a parent at all times.
