Junior Explorers (1st - 2nd) Broward Campus Only

Junior Explorers is offered to campers entering 1st through 2nd Grade as an introduction to exploring the unknowns of the world. They will explore the mysteries of the deep blue oceans, the stories of the Seven Seas, prehistoric dinosaurs, and the valleys and the peaks of the highest mountains. They will learn the Asian art of origami, fill their minds with fun and interactive games, explore the wildlife in Africa and the jungles of the rainforest, and learn of the treasures left behind. This program is sure to give your child an adventure of a lifetime!

Ms. Amanda Glaser has worked in education and at American Heritage summer camp for many years. She has a son who attends AHS and also attends American Heritage summer camp. With over 40 voyages and counting, She has explored the world from the valleys of Ireland to the glaciers of Alaska and everywhere in between. With a passion for traveling, she can’t wait to teach all of her fellow explorers about the amazing wonders of this beautiful world we live in!

Camper groupings vary by program. Day Camp programs will be grouped by age/grade/gender, Specialty Programs are grouped together by age, interest, and/ or skill level. Programs are not guaranteed and require a minimum enrollment. Campers are supervised at all times by our energetic and fully-trained staff. Our counselors are carefully selected based on experience, character, and leadership. Every staff member is background checked, as we continue to maintain the highest level of safety and security on campus. At American Heritage Day Camp we do our very best to make sure our staff is placed with the appropriate age group to ensure a successful and fun summer.
